Research Assistant, Professor Blakesley Burkhart, Rutgers University, NJ

Thanks for stopping by! My name is Avi Chen. I am a PhD student working as a Research Assistant under Professor Blakesley Burkhart. My interests include Galaxy Formation, MHD Turbulence, and Magnetic Fields.
Outside of physics, I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, biking, and scuba diving. Some memorable adventures include hiking Mount Fuji in sandals, cycling from Shiraz to Tehran under the blazing sun, cycling through the back roads of central Rajasthan while dodging sand dunes and wild buffalo, and scuba diving in the Similan Islands in pitch darkness.
